Getting started with a Job Support Group
In a JobGroup, you will gain more clarity about who you are, what you want, and what you can do in seven meetings. The aim is to exchange experiences and help each other take the next step.
In seven steps, we work towards the ultimate goal of the meetings: an elevator pitch! In an elevator pitch, you give a short and appealing presentation of who you are, what you can do, and what you are looking for. In the preceding meetings, you gather the information you need to present yourself with confidence.
What does a JobGroup look like?
This is what a meeting looks like, with the various topics that are discussed:
- Who am I? What do I find important in a new job? In what areas do I want to grow further?
- What is holding me back? What are my limiting beliefs and how can I turn them into helpful beliefs?
- What can I do? What are my competencies? How can I recognize these competencies in specific situations?
- What do I want? Make a bucket list for all areas of your life!
- What am I looking for? Look for job openings. Not just for yourself, but also for a fellow participant.
- How do I present myself? Learn tips and tricks to present yourself well on social media.
- This is me! Time to deliver your elevator pitch. An expert will provide feedback.
This is what the program looks like:
- Intro: arrival with coffee and tea, introductions
- JobTalk: short interactive workshop
- GroupTalk: assignments in small groups to get feedback from each other
- Afterparty: stay and chat and ask the JobGroupLeaders for individual advicetje
